Roy Snow Frost

Roy's birth mother was Gladys and he was adopted by his aunt and uncle, Walter and Mary Frost when he was a few months old.

He married Dorothy Covey in Arkansas when they were both 17 years old. His parents owned the only grocery store and Roy had the only vehicle in three counties that he used to deliver groceries, and take neighbors to the doctor.

He had 20/10 vision so the Army made him a scout.  Apparently, a German sniper had 20/10 vision as well and shot Roy in the leg.

After returning from the Army, Roy worked all over the country as a supervisor on building projects until he went to work for the Weather Bureau.  He said his name was an ice breaker when he went to a new location.
